eSite Power Systems has the capability and experience to deliver projects on a turnkey basis if needed, beginning with designing the site power topology to achieve the required performance levels. Together with the customer, the most appropriate combination and dimensioning of battery, generator and solar panel (where required) technologies and brands are selected. eSite Power Systems offers expert guidance on where to source this ancillary equipment, but can also supply the entire system if required.
eSite Power Systems’ service offerings can include project management, training, commissioning, system optimisation, reporting and overall quality assurance. Local work such as installation and maintenance services, can be managed by local eSite Power Systems staff or by in-country partners.
eSite x10 is designed to withstand the harsh operational environments often encountered at telecom sites and to minimise site call-out and replacement costs. The unit is internally redundant with three independent rectifier channels of 3.5kW each. If one of the rectifiers fails, the other two channels will remain operational to serve the site loads. In the unlikely event of a hardware fault, the unit will generate a detailed alarm in eSite Tools, recommending that the unit is replaced. There is no need for advanced troubleshooting on site, eSite Tools will provide all the required information.
The replacement process on site is extremely simple – the eSite x10 main unit is simply lifted off its connection compartment and a new one slotted in its place. The SIM card is then swapped from the old unit in to the new eSite x10, at which point all site-specific system settings will automatically be downloaded from the eSite Tools server and the system will then be up and running again. This is a hot swap process during which the site power load is provided with continuous power directly from batteries, ensuring no downtime during the replacement process.
In the event of intermittent or no mobile network coverage, all system settings can be transferred via Wi-Fi from the site technician’s laptop or smartphone.
The faulty unit is sent to an international repair centre. eSite Power Systems and its partners will, as part of service agreements, ensure that there is always a sufficient inventory of spare eSite x10 units available for any potential swaps.
The simplicity of the eSite x10’s handling on site (initial installation, commissioning and replacement of faulty main unit) makes it very easy to manage by local partners or contractors – companies that are typically already carrying out genset related or active infrastructure related services on site. eSite Power Systems provides a partner services program for such companies. Remote support and software maintenance
eSite Power Systems provides comprehensive Remote Support and Software Maintenance (RSSM) for eSite x10. The RSSM package includes all software updates, KPI reporting, remote support and system audits.
Formalised processes are in place to manage all support requests and to provide reporting on actions taken, problem resolution and training on avoiding similar situations in future. Enabled by eSite Tools, eSite Power Systems’ RSSM service will give you peace of mind for the full lifetime of your eSite x10 site power equipment.
